introduction-show each person and subtitle to show who that person is scene #1- sage takes rama and lakshama to train them in archery sage “ over there i have set an apple hanging from a string by a branch. you must hit the apple with this bow and arrow. lakshama, you go first” (hands grant bow and arrow) Lakshama “ ok, ill try “ (fails) sage “ you were close lakshama, now you try rama ( hands mitchell bow and arrow) rama “ this doesn’t look to hard” ( hits the apple) sage “ very impressive rama, you have proved yourself to be a very skilled archer" scene #2- at the swayamvara, the princess strings a giant bow, and challenges other men o break it for her marriage Sita " I have been asked to string this bow for the ceremony. I am not strong enough to string it but whoever can string this bow will marry me." (random person tries to string the bow) Rama " I'll try to string the bow" ( strings and breaks bow in two) Sita " you have broken the bow, you may marry me. Here take this garland and put it around your neck." scene #3 - the king gives Rama the throne and the king goes to the forest to seek moksha. Displays dharma because eldest son should take over the throne. However the stepmother wants bustard to rule and gets the king to banish Rama. King " Rama I have decided to retire o the forest and seek moksha. Therefore since you are my oldest son you must fullfll your dharma and take the throne" Rama " it is my dharma and I accept" ( comes in king wife ramad stepmother) stepmother " you promise that my son would take the throne in an oath you made to me years ago" king " this is true" stepmother " you must banish Rama from the palace" king " this is such devastating news. I am not going to face him and tell him this. I will send kaikeyi to tell him" scene # 4- kaikeyi tells Rama he has to go to the forest and leave the palace. Sita and lakshama go with him. Kaikeyi " Rama, I have bad news. A few years ago the king gave an oath to your stepmother that names bustard king. I an so sorry but you must leave and go to the forest" Rama " I understand, but why hasn't the king brought me this news himself?" Kayieki " this is because he was to ashamed to do so" Sita " Rama if you leave I will always be there by your side" Lakshama " as will I brother" Rama " thank you for always being there for me. You must fulfill your destiny. Rama " I will not. We must listen to father" Bharata " very well. Give me your sandals. " I will put these on the throne and every day I shall place the fruits of my work at the feet of my lord." Rama " very well, that is very respectful of you" scene #6- Rama Sita and Bharata are very happy in the forest. Rama destroys the evil creatures that disturb the other sages. a rakshasa princess ties to seduce Rama, but lakshama wounds her and drive her away. She return to her brother ravana and tells him about Sita rakshasa princess-hello Rama, I have seen you in the forest before. Rama- yes I live here with Sita and lakshama Princess- who us Sita Rama- Sita is my wife and I love her very much Princess- o that's to bad Rama- why is that bad? ( lakshama comes in) Lakshama- who is this? Rama- I do not know, she just came her saying that he has seen me before. Lakshama- I dont care who you are, do not try to make Rama your lover, he I very happy with Sita. Now leave! ( wounds princess) ( princess returns to her brothers palace in Lanka) Princess- ravana, you must know about this women named Sita Ravana- who is Sita? And why have I never ears if her before? Sita steps out of circle that Rama made and is kidnapped by ravana who is disguised as a begger. Rama- hey look over there, its a golden deer! Lakshama we must hunt it down. Lakshama- if course, but it is very fast, we better go now. Rama- her sits, I an putting a barrier aroun you, if don't step out of this le then you will be safe. Sita- ok, goodbye ( ravana disguised as a beggar) Ravana- hello young lady, do you have any food that you can give to an old begger? Sita - of course, here is some meat that Rama hunted the other day. ( hands it to ravana and he grabs her) ( Rama returns to where Sita once was) Rama- where is sita Hanuman- me ad my band if monkeys saw ravana disguised as a beggar take her. We will be honored to help you find her. Rama- thank you, I can use all the help that I Can get, I must get her back at once. Hanuman- I will fly to Lanka and go send the message to Sita, once I find her, I will return and we will all go and rescue her Rama- it sounds like a plan scene#8- ravana as men capture hanuman an light his tail on fire. Shocked, he jumps rooftop to rooftop lighting Lanka on fire. He then gets back to Rama to tell him the news. ( scene when hanumans tail gets lit on fire) ravana- an never come back! ( hanuman jumping around) hanuman- my tail! ( hanuman flies back to Rama to tell him the news) hanuman- Rama, ravana the ten headed prince of Lanka has taken Sita to his palace.h Rama- we mist all join together and save her scene #9- Rama and hanuman build a causeway from the tip of India to Lanka there is a battle and Rama kills several of ravanas men he meets ravana. Another big battle occurs and Rama kills ravana. scene #10- Rama frees sita and Rama returns to be crowned king. His rule is very strict on dharma
